Are they any good?

I've spotted one on ebay not far from me and am sorely tempted, might be a laugh for pratting around on off-road.

UBG says something about fitting a 24mm carb instead of the standard 19mm one - anyone know anything about this mod, or where I could get the bigger carb from?

Thanks Smile

marjay had or has one i think

i think their light weight would make them great off road, but i think on road, drum brakes on the front would be a bit shit as most bikes have disc brakes these days

I've got one for sale if you want it. £500 to a BCF member, otherwise its on ebay for another 9 days. Its a pretty nice bike, and would be OK for mild green laning or pratting about in a field, but It wouldn't be up to an enduro, put it that way!

As a cheap means of transportation, and something to pratt about off road, you can't really go wrong with it really. My bike now has 12 months MOT as of yesterday, so is really a bargain.

Mark.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

They weigh bugger all, the brakes are perfectly adequate.
