Yeah don't be mugged fella! A friend had an XT and it was slow, nothing you can do about it. Keep an eye on the oil too!

You can still have fun though!

I got the bike back with a "spare" piece that was aparrently in the carberetor which would derestrict it slightly? it was a small penny sized like plastic washer with four smaller holes around the large hole and a curved up lip? any guesses what that is?

I sold the XT Very Happy
I am going to pick up a '97 DT tonight YEYY!!
does anyone know where I can buy some plastics for it I am struggling to find any on the internets. I think I want to go for white plastics and have all my metal parts in either in a shiney colour or just chrome :/
I like the white and red scheme but it has been done on here and very well may I add, compliments to mugenseiki.
I will upload pics soon. Cheers

I remember when I wheelied mine when I first got it, nearly shat myself and almost fell off Laughing Was a bit of a shock going from a scooter to the DTR, I remember my arms and legs aching after riding around all day getting used to the gears and riding position (and maybe clinging on a bit Embarassed).

Dunlop tyers.

Will be upgrading the footpegs to blue, and getting a professional alarm system fitted as this is constantly being eyed up. Already had one Dt stolen, I'm making sure this one wont be knicked.

I've had this 3 years now, Never come off it, Done 17,000 miles, It goes off the speedo, But comfortably does around 85mph flat out. 0-60 in about 6-7 seconds.
