As G rightly says ,yours will not be the same as anyone elses ,you have to get quotes i have a CRF230 its £48 TPFT at 17 to be honest your gonna pay for a few years yet,when your an old bugger they know you cant pop a wheelie any more |

Yeah ...buy my vfr400 and restrict it £700 is piss cheap ,MOT till next Aug needs nothing but Tax ,starts and runs superb,totally standard then spend the savings on insurance,buy it before tommorow and ill wrap it too |

Both are good bikes,XR probably more suited to a novice as nice easy power delivery and bullet proof engine,CRM can be wild when valve hits in,but same size and approx weight of XR so no problem if you are tall enough,you MUST get a bike that you can touch both feet down off road ,you will be far more confident ,alot of bikes are too tall and its just a question of when not if you come off |
