Decent all-round bike at a reasonable price.
Don't pay a lot for one, because it's new brother (DRZ-400) does everything a bit better.

Also consider the DR600, which only weighs a tiny bit more, makes a little bit more power at the top, but a lot more in the middle/low down.

I don't know, to be honest.

As ever, I'd suggest you consider how much it's worth to you..
So have a look at similar bikes available and see what they're going for.

For instance, something might seem a complete bargain, but if you can get a different model that's better suited to you for only 5% more, then the good buy might not be so good.

For instance, for me 'standard' isn't a great selling point - for me, if I was looking at one for off roading I'd prefer to see a bash plate, some hand guards and so on, so I'd have to factor in that another bike with a few more miles with these already on might be a better bet etc etc.

£1200 is a bit steep, the later electric start 350's are selling for around £900-£1000. Don't buy a kick start model, they are renown for poor starting and I can confirm it is true!

DRZ 400 is light years ahead of the old 350

Don't knock the kick-start version. I had one for a few years and once you had the right technique it was quite easy to start.

They're not bad first trail bikes - they're heavy enough to have a bit of stability - especially in mud - but can still cope with most terrain.

Just bought a S reg kick start DR350 for £990. It starts on the third kick when cold every time, and first when warm. It's a dream to ride to work, uses hardly any fuel, and is easy and light to use off road.

Looks tough as old boots as well, it has probably the best quality finish of any bike I've ever owned.

Cant believe I've been missing out on it for all these years!

Highly recommended!! (Pics to follow)
