Ktm exc 125 and 125 supermoto

Hi, whats the difference between an exc and a supermoto except the wheels. Im lookin at a bike on ebay a 2001 ktm supermoto/enduro 125 i want it for green lanes but worry the suspension is different from the exc? iv looked at pictures of both models they look the same apart from the wheels which can just be changed to some nice mx wheels wiv nobblies cant i ? Also how can i make it 33 bhp is the restrictor in the standard exhaust?

I'm not sure KTM sold a supermoto specific version; so I suspect this is just the EXC with SM wheels.

You'd be wanting enduro rather than motocross wheels I suspect (different size rear generally), other than that, even if it had the SM suspension, if you back it all off it'd probably be fine for greenlaning; just a little harsh.

pretty pricey aswell the KTM's, what about a dt125 sm?

More hassle to get road registered and power delivery isn't quite so good for 'lanes.

Moot point, I expect as he asked the question ten days ago, so I expect if it was an ebay auction, it's finished .
