Only 3 and 4 are on torrent Wink

I'm in the process of making the Adrenalin Crew 2 dvd an avi to torrent and upload.

I must say no where near as good as the first one.

Project minty is going to be renamed as Project Tarts Handbag I think.

I want something that stands out, something that looks like a tarty bike and will suprise people when I leave scraping the tail. Wink

So, compressor and spray set sorted, wheels, frame, swingarm being sprayed gloss black with a candy red flake Embarassed rims being polished.

Vinyl wrapped undertray going on Wink

Watch this space. It's going to be subtle but tarty. IT won't stay mint for long but it should turn heads, and will still be recognisable as a CBR 600 F Sport which is what I want.

I've started revamping my current stunt bike, for a couple of reasons, 1) so its in better condition and looks better when I sell it and 2) so it looks better!!

The side fairings on the crashed project minty are "reasonable" for stunt use, I have a reasonable seat unit and a mint tank too... so...

I stripped my bike down, cleaned it all, then cleaned it again with paraffin and a pressure washer. Fixed and improved a few things too!

I've stripped the radiator off, need to get the mounts re-welded on as they snapped. I'm going to re-spray the frame and swingarm black and clean up a few more bits too... as well as replace the forks.

Used to look like this, rather tired looking and generally dirty/crap looking. (only pic I have, no stationary ones!)

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/normal_sparkshighchair3.jpg

So here it is.... (well, half-done but you get the idea Laughing)

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/stunter-revamp-1.jpg
https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/stunter-revamp-2.jpg

Will update this thread with the continuation of project minty and project revamp Laughing

To do:

Arrow Fix, remount and fill radiator
Arrow Spray frame, swingarm and some other bits black
Arrow Replace forks
Arrow Replace and fix front brakes
Arrow Cut tail slightly for round 12 bar and mount up
Arrow Dent tank and spray (dent only)
Arrow Fix some wiring (fell into fan and got chewed up DOH)
Arrow Service (oil, filter, check a few things etc etc!)
Arrow Fix starting problem (battery I *think*)

Sure I'll think of more Wink

UPDATE

Progress, anyone say progress!

The undertray was fucked when I got this, I first intended to fit the red aftermarket undertray in a previous post, but turns out that was for the F4 not the F Sport Sad

So... I swapped the undertray off my stunt bike to get this moving along.

Everything removed

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/undertray-removed-1.jpg
https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/undertray-removed-2.jpg

Replacement undertray fitted up Smile

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/undertray-fitted-1.jpg

Handlebars fitted up, fairing had to be moved forward slightly to allow clearance but got there in the end. I also had to cut down the upper fairing and screen to meet the line of the clock bracket

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/bars-fitted.jpg

I got to thinking about handbrake clearance issues, then before I knew it I ended up fitting the whole thing and made it all clear fine Mr. Green It has changed since this pic as I found a better way to mount it all, but it looks basically like this... easy pull clutch too Smile

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/handbrake.jpg

Side shot, as you can see I now have a cut down standard can fitted up

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/side-shot-1.jpg

CBR1000RR fireblade throttle and a ducati 748 brembo Drooling Drooling

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/1000rrthrottle.jpg

Here's what I see Wink Before anyone comments...... the left reservoir is tilted forwards so that the res doesn't run dry when wheelying... the right side reservoir tilts back so it doesn't run dry when stoppying Smile

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/controls-view.jpg

I have started on the wheels... here's what I'm going for, they aren't finished yet but it will look like this with red rim stripe, what ya reckon?

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/front-red-wheel-1.jpg

Got to fit indicators, find a replacement rear light that fits, fit new seat unit and round 12 bar and a fair few other things, but it's getting there.

Been busy today.

Not so many pictures for you but I've got a lot done to both bikes.

The stunter.. I've sprayed the frame and swingarm, replaced tank, put a flat 12 bar on it and cut the seat unit to fit, also straightened the subframe and tidied all the wiring.... started putting the renthal handlebars back on as well... also rebled the rear brake and removed handbrake (as that's gone on the new bike)

It's starting to take shape and it looks a hell of a lot better than it used to.

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/stunter-revamp-3.jpg

As for Project Minty.

Well, I've put a 16mm brembo on the front brakes, I bled it all up yesterday with a banjo brake light switch for MOT purposes.

Let's just say, you'll be getting a lot of stoppie pictures from me soon! This set up is AWESOME. I was rolling stoppies on cold tyres without even trying..... !

I finished the front wheel too.. but there's a slight issue with this!

I sprayed it up and was really happy, then I got the pinstriping but when I started putting it on I became really unhappy Sad it was too narrow and completely the wrong colour! It's more orange than red.

So I chucked it on quickly without much effort with the view of just getting it MOT'ed and taking it all off later when I can be bothered....

So I start fitting the wheel up..

front off...

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/front-wheel-removed.jpg

the wheel (at this stage I was really unhappy with it and kinda MEH about it all

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/front-wheel.jpg

Anyways, I chuck it on reluctantly, then my neighbour comes down the drive and says how good it looks.!!

I step back for the first time and look at it actually fitted to the bike and I have to say but I really love it... I just need to get some 10mm HONDA RED pinstripe before I'm happy, but the general idea looks really good IMO. Cool

https://www.sparksfreestyle.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/red-wheel-fitted-1.jpg

Tomorow I am going to fit the round 12 bar and seat unit and seats...

All that's left is a rear disc, front mudguard and got to do the rear wheel the same as the front (as well as change the pinstriping)

I got some 954 fireblade left switchgear and a start/stop button off a Honda VTR SP-2 so once they turn up I have to custom re-wire the switchgear looms to get them to fit and work then it's down for MOT!!!

Still saving up some cash for the tail saver and crash cage Smile

This is looking really good, looking forward to seeing some pictures of it in action. Only thing I really don't like is the cut down screen, was there any way you could have left it standard?

Nope not really Sad the bars would clear now I think, but when sitting in high chair etc it would be even more akward as the screen would be too high and it'd put too much pressure on the screen which could snap the upper fairing Sad

It's on the to-do list, need to get a universal one I think as room is quite tight with that round 12 bar fitted.

Left to do:

Arrow Fit rear disc
Arrow New chain and sprockets (-1 +6)
Arrow Spray rear wheel
Arrow Change rim tape on both wheels to RED not poxy orange.
Arrow Rewire switchgears and get to work on this bike
Arrow Fit rear light of some sort
Arrow tank dent and spray
Arrow Fit crash cage
Arrow Fit tail saver
Arrow Replace rear brake master with the stunt one and bleed up

Hmm still a fair bit to do.

They are Harris race clip ons, flipped and swapped (so they angle up rather than down) I also brought them in a bit shorter as they are REALLY long bars...
