erm, serious question. why not save the money for a bigger bike if you have a moped that works? I wanted to spend all of my money on 50's when i was 16, but looking back on it i would have been well better off saving it and putting it towards my test or something.

But as a project, it all looks a bit... wet and rusty. I can only imagine what the inside of those engines are like... there must be a reason he took it out. Also it says he had trouble finding a manual... have you considered the fact that you may have the same problem?

Cheers, Daz.

Why not get a 125 project? that way you can ride it by the time you have finished it? That bike does look like of a hell of a lot of work even for me and i've restored 2x bikes.

Cheers, Daz.

I think I'd be going with finding something similar buy in 125cc or whatever; something you can look forward to offering you a bit more in your riding when you can ride it.

Same as G, 50 is wasted. You want something bigger, more benefit in long run.

it looks in a proper state mate. Might be easier to start with something a little less...... in bits perhaps.

As said my only regret in riding is tryin to get something flash to start on.
That money is best saved for a future upgrade.

Still nothing wrong with getting your hand dirty and learning
