Well, here she is. 1989 VFR400R NC30 with SP2 paintjob done by Dream Machines. 35k km miles on the clock.

Its my first bike having ridden a Speedfight for 18 months and taking my test on a CG125. Really really amazed with the power and how it goes through the gears so easily. Love it!

Mods already done are;
HRC tap mod, airbox mod, new HT leads, 1992 fully adjustable forks powdercoated black, Tyga end can, CBR600RR master cylinder, renthal grips, small plate, tail tidy, tankpad, crash bobbins.

Only ideas I have are HRC black box, new windshield, maybe powdercoat the wheels white and just generally tidy it all up.

Hope you like, and yes more pictures will come!

Paint job's lovely.

Keep the wheels black though, and go for white rim stripes. C'est magnifique.

Plain contrasts work well - complementary colours. DON'T for the life of you get fluoro ANYTHING!

If you mean the derestrictor save your money. It does the excact same thing as an M-Max or similar yet costs 10 x as much because it has HRC on it.

If you mean a HRC CDI good luck they are like hens teeth.

get a normal sized numberplate... its the most pointless ''mod'' ever. it doesnt even look good half the time.
as well as landing you with a fine, fines are cool arent they?

imagine the conversation...

''i got fined on my bike''
''wow, what for? speeding? wheelieing?''
''no, for having a slightly small numberplate''
''ahahaha @ u''

also... airbox mod? do elaborate. please tell me you havnt just drilled some holes in it to ruin your mixture.

The numberplate is not stupid small, very subtle and doesnt look silly!

Airbox mod, found the previous owner on the internet and it said airbox mod in their thread! No idea if its still there or not but copied and pasted a few bits!

Are there any pictures of the rear seat caps on the internet to see what they look like? Seen them on a few sites but never fitted.. Would be interested to see..

the small ones irritate me.

it doesnt matter if it came with the bike or not, you'll still get a fine. im giving you advice, so hush.

the fine is considerably more than the price of a plate.

I've got this one on mine and overtook a traffic car with an indicator missing at 80mph and he didnt bat an eyelid. Laughing

Mick you'll probably find he was too busy vomiting at the site of it and your wonderful leathers whilst trying to prevent his ears bleeding at the noise!

TJ, that's the most beautiful NC30 I think I've EVER seen.
