Went and looked at this a couple of weeks ago:

Took her for a test ride and thought yeah she's lovely. Got the cash out and snapped her up:

Got up the next day and took the stickers off, I thought these were 'tacky'.

Fitted headlight covers, gives the bike a nice stealth look!

Bought a new plate as the current one says "Daz's B1H" from the previous owner.

Spent a while looking at various numberplate slogan topics and this one made me laugh the most, so I got it:

Bought some braided lines for her yesterday, and plan on getting some wavy discs.

Did wonder about them, but then the LED tail-light is one unit, as opposed to the R6 rear lights, which is 2 seperate units of LED's, which is what they use for advertising.

Definetly needs some kind of rear indicator improvement, I just haven't found anything I really like yet.

The plate is 7.5" by 5.5", smaller than allowed but not taking the piss so shouldn't be too bad.

I don't know what it is about these but i'm still to make my mind up whether i like them or not... i think it could just be the big red and white sticker though.

Much like the zx7r's big yellow sticker!

Quite cheap but found the quality to be good. Came with everything we needed. Has loads of adjustments. If you got the cash then there's no harm in spending £300 on Harris/Gilles etc though.

That arata exhaust looks LUSH! I remember Dale Lomas from Performance Bikes had one on his ZX6R b1h ages ago and praised it for its build quality. Saw the bike on MCN ninjas and thought - if only I had the cash and still had my 4 years NCB!

I think my next bike will probably be a B1H in black since i've always favoured black quacks. it does look angular and unique.

I also had those integrated indis on my ZXR250 and they weren't too bad. Eitherway, i was always a fan of clear lenses.

Tell you what, stick some HID's in there! Look for an ebay seller called dianneshop and order the right fitting for your headlight (preference would be if you have H7 lights, just have the xenons on low beam) - 30 quid is a definite investment and extra blue bling - DON'T bother getting 8000k, 6000k is diamond white and won't get you in trouble with plod. Loving your bike though.

I don't think that a rear shock mod would be needed just yet? It's only when you start to find the limits of the standard shock, or not surprisingly find that the shock is mullered would you want to fit a new one... Hyperpro track shock seem to get a good rating from the boys on mcnninjas - get yourself on there too.

I found the stock setup to be quite harsh - felt like a springboard plank when I test rode one; which launched the bike off road imperfections, rather than soaking them up. My twitchy Blade felt more secure down a bumpy backroad. Decent suspension doesn't need to do that. Get the spring rate right, the damping as good as a pro can make for it, and better use of the bike's lightweight flickability can be had (and thus confidence, composure and cornering speed).

Just while I remember
With that tail light you'll need resistors fitted or fit a new relay. I ended up putting a relay in it's far less hassle.
