Saw your profile pic on her facebook. Thought ooh that's a nice bike. Saw it was a fairly unique 636, name was Graham put two and two together. Just by coincidence the same profile pic on facebook is one a little up in this thread.

My uncle Mark, was the one who got me my 250 I'm riding about on at the moment.

Ah yeah course. Thanks Smile

Mark is her old man I presume? He rides cruisers and stuff I think, boring, but I won't tell him that for obvious reasons Laughing

Yeah, he's got a 1.8ltr Harley. Beautiful machine, and the noise gives you heart palpitations. Not my cup of tea though.

And I wouldn't want to rip the piss out of his pride and joy either! He used to pick me up one handed, and there's a fair chance he still may be able to.

OT, gorgeous bike mate Thumbs Up

Some smoked, flush indi's on the front would work nicely. Would fit the stealth look.

How much did the bike cost you to buy? I've been saving for a new hornet, but the BH1 is such a sexy bike. Reading this thread makes me want one more and more.

Yeah I would like some dark tint and flush as possible indicators, not proving easy to find though!

It cost me 3k. Lovely bikes, sound great and I love riding it. Bumpy though so I'm not sure if I'd want it day in day out, but it's perfect for something to blast around on every now and again as I do.

This guy is breaking one with a ohlins shock, you know you want to Laughing

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KAWASAKI-ZX-636-zx6r-zx-6r-ZX-6R-ZX6r-C6F-BLACK-LOOK_W0QQitemZ200256380543QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item200256380543&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A7%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

The bike looks awesome, I'm trying to decide between a 636/675/SP1/2 as my next fun bike.

Graham has a B1 ( 03 ) not a C1 ( 05 ) and the Ohlins part is the damper not the shock. Wink

It's an Ohlins steering damper.

Not a shock Wink

I'd have either tbh.

I fancy a steering damper for mine, found the front end gets very light under acceleration which becomes a battle to fight it on a bumpy road

Part of the fun Graham, surely Wink

Well, if fun means shit your pants when you crest a hill at a ton plus, and realise you have a hundred and fifty yards to brake and turn on bumpy roads. I may as well have not had the clip ons in my hands for all the good it did. Laughing Steering damper WOULD have been nice.

Damn right, I know my zxr is somewhat technically challenged, but when I'm hanging off through a corner and I accelerate out of as well as picking myself up back into the seat, I tend to shift my weight onto the back wheel and the front goes light and skippy. Not fun at all.

Saying that my frame is considerably more damaged than yours Razz

Reminds me of passing a junction fairly familiar, and just as I reached where I was knocked off 3 years previous my new bike decided to shake its head on some bumps at 130mph. It was almost like the demons from that area had been sniffed out by the ever powerful 99 R1, and it was getting mad at me for taking it that way. Rolling Eyes Laughing

Not interesting when your in a tank slapper fast approaching a corner, I'd rather a planted front end than one shaking everywhere!

People often seem to confuse a head shake with a "tank slapper".

Tank Slapper = Brown pants + scary
Head Shake just lets you know that your really gunning it...

Just a heads up as this may have been aimed at me, I said 'shake its head' as that is a fairly easy way of describing a tankslapper. I dont feel the need to go on about how it was lock to lock and how I shit myself. How do you mean people often seem to confuse anyway? surely a tankslapper is a tankslapper is a head shake is a tankslapper, just different levels of a slapper surely?
