My GSXR600 is restricted. It's fine. Well the restricted isn't exactly good for it. But no serious damage.


Just for the love of god don't ride before its restricted like I did.

Korn needs to get off his ass and sort out auto-pruning for this forum.

ACP -> Forums -> General Bike Chat -> Edit -> Auto-Pruning!

Prune posts that haven't been viewed or posted in for more than 365 days, problem sorted.

Aside from that...

My new GSXR1000 has to be restricted, I've been on a restricted 2007 Bandit 650 before and that wasn't too bad, much much slower but still rideable. Before the haters arrive, my restriction is up quite soon so buying it now for when it expires. Thumbs Up.

sv 650's restrict really well..acceleration is not that affected.just top speed 90mph flat out

Have you ridden a full power bike? it has double the BHP, of course it effects acceleration.

I used to own a restricted sv.And compared to a mates full power one there was not a lot of difference.. Thumbs Up
