After this:

https://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd116/JakeR600/twat.jpg

The CBR was a cat C, so i bought it back off the insurance and i'm half way to turning it into a full on stunter, ive primered all the panels today, just need to coat them in some stupidly bright orange, then i can get my cage, 12 bar etc on, hopin' itll look ok but tbh itll be getting thrown on the floor everyday anyway.

Wow, did I miss the 'I crashed' thread? it looks pretty decent as a stunter though. Who's fault was the crash then?

Cheers guys, yeah the Tax disc holders goin' Laughing

Binge, it's getting a fat sprocket, hand brake, cage, 12 bar, easy pull clutch, the lot, just gotta get it rideable etc first.

Fahd, womans fault, she pulled across in front of me from behind a bus, i had no where to go, ended up with a fractured knee cap, sprial fracture to my tibia, torn cruciate ligament, and cartelidge damage.

Doc said it'll be 3 to 6 months till im better but fuck that.

Looking good mate. Got 2 questions though

Why you giving it a gloss black base?

Is the reason u didn't spray the tank because you didn't lacquer it? Doesn't lacquer go on as a final finishing coat?

I like that photoshopped pic it looks good, but I dunno, it just seems like the fairings stick out too far without the nose cone on.

That fairings horrible, can you not just make it into a bellypan or similar?

It just sticks out too far!

Saying that, i like the colour schemes, although i reckon it'll need decal's too to finish it off.

Nice bike considering it was crashed!

I need a big fat nemo sticker for the top of the tank now. Laughing

Need to put some orange on the tank, then lacquer it, then put the usual decals on and the pretty shits done, then it can get the cage, 12 bar etc.

How does the easy pull clutch work? Any links to one? I always get a horrible pain in my left wrist after a long ride from the clutch and even after having the span adjuster as close to the bar as possible I get it. Would it be usable as an every day thing or is it only really suitable for a stunt bike?
