Yeh its a full remus (road legal) system. Still can't get over how much fun it is.

The grunt is unreal coming from a high revving zx6r. My Kwak hits the red at 14k where as the CCM does it in 8k.

I'm trying to insure it for the week so I can have some more fun but it's gonna cost a bit. Sad

You should try and blag a ride on one, it's so worth it.

They are pretty cheap too, this one is an 02 plate with 3k miles and cost 2 grand.

I'm actually jealous.

Looking at getting one as my first big bike - coming from an RS125.
What're they like to ride? like power delivery wise?

Guessing insurance is a little high too Sad

insurance tends to be lower for supermotos
a) lower top speed
b) less Of the worlds most expensive plastic
c) if it does go down you can put fresh offroad bike plastics on and few will notice

Thumbs Up

well mine does on average 95 miles to a £10 (thats when it hits reserve) so still a few miles in the tank and thats pretty much canning it everywhere.
Service intervals are around 3500-4000 miles, oil filters are about £5 all in with new seals etc,
if its the suzuki engine then its twin spark/twin carb, rotax is single carb/spark.
Tyres are between 55 - 90 ish dependant on make. As its a big single there aint really anything that you cant fix yourself with ease.
There are few easy mods to improve performance. air box mod, tps setting, throttle valve removal all being free ones to do. then whack on a race exhaust to get a bit more from it,

And most of all they are sooo much fun lol

waws talking to a lad in southport yesterday and hes just got rid of a hayabusa and gone supermoto his mate is also now selling his bike and grabbing one after having a blast on em SmileSmile

there standard ccm wheels mag and spoked the r30 came out the factory as a supermoto and cant fit off road wheels due to shorter swing arm the ds can use both wheels supermoto or off road

Their perfectly capable of doing that!
Gel seats sometimes come up on ebay which would help, and maybe changing the gearing slightly.

The engine would be fine with it Thumbs Up

(cant wait to get mine, coming soon Very Happy )

Nice bike mark!

Once i've got the money i'll be looking for another SM to do abit of dual sporting Very Happy

Maybe the XR650, TE610, KTM('s). Twisted Evil

God I love CCM R30s!

I flirted with the idea of getting rid of the SRAD and getting one, but the missus would want the SRAD for a track hack, so I'm going to have to save some cash to buy one outright Shocked

Lovely looking bikes though lads Thumbs Up

Can anybody let me know how to set up my r30 carbs please? I have gone from open (illegal) race can (too loud) to original CCM road can and rejetted as per instructions from red dog motorcycles who sold me the can but now have a massive flat spot around 4k revs. Have adjusted air intake screws but think i'm making it worse. I then put the original race can and jets back on as a test and it still has a massive flat spot so don't know what to do next. Help please, would love to get back on it but it is practically unridable at present. Crying or Very sad
