after getting a rebore, new piston etc following seizing my bike, i rebuilt it all and it started no problem. after a dy of riding however the bike stopped and would not fire up, so i cleaned the carbs and air filter, fitted a new plug and the bike ran again. now, a couple of days later, the bike stopped running again Sad and i would appreciate any ones advice!

If it keeps munching spark plugs then maybe it is running to which and the fuel is just swamping the plug...stopping it from sparking.

When you take the plugs out do they look wet at all (do a plug chop maybe?)

Hope you have run it in after getting a rebore and new piston and rings.

Forgot to put it in my post above, and i can't be bothered editing it so i'll just make a newpost Laughing

You haven't said whether it is the X or R version, if it is the X with supermoto wheels and it is reasonbley new then i presume it will have Pirelli MT75 tyres fitted.

NGK R spark plugs have a resistor in them so should be used with a plug cap that doesn't have a resistor. Or do it the other way round, so have a resisting plug cap and a non resisting spark plug.

If your plugs come out very black and sooty it's probably running rich.

I cleaned up all my old plugs that had died in my RX-S and they give off really stong sparks now.
