Done a bit over the years but never had a camera on me.
Got this one from earlier in the year but its a bit tame really.
Explored plenty of derelict cotton mills in the past.

Looks a bit easy Owdamer Razz

Definetly need a camera, some people do it for the visual excitement but I like looking back at my pics. I've been following 28 days later for months but me and my mates finally just said "Sod it" and did one on Boxing Day. Been back already Laughing

Buckmore Leisure Centre, massive site Shocked Took 2 trips and each trip was 1 and a half hours roughly. Here's my thread on 28dl:

Done my fair share, was pumping water out of a ROC post last week with a couple of 28DL members.

Didn't even try, bit too much noise making for my liking, maybe another time when there is more of us. Although I'd imagine most sizes have been nicked! The skates actually belong to Starlight.

Truslack, I've always wondered, what is an ROC post and what does it stand for?

An observation post for the Royal Observers Corps. They started as aircraft watching posts in WW2, then in light of the cold war, underground bunkers were built, to monitor radiation in the event of a nuclear bomb being dropped.

They are a small (2mx2mx4m) monitoring room, with a toilet room, and an access shaft. Not the most interesting of things, but you're never more than 20miles from one... or 3! There was 1600 across the UK.

Correct me if i'm wrong here, but isn't this just trespass/breaking & entering going by a fancy 'modern' name?
Don't get me wrong, i'm all for climbing into derelict buildings as a pastime personally, it's just nice to know if i do then i'm not a criminal, i'm an 'urban explorer'.

Thumbs Up

That looks interesting. I always look at all these derelict old places round the back of everywhere and think "Wonder what's in there", but I guess I never dared think I could go in there. I always imagine places like that will be full of meths drinkers and crackheads sitting round an old 40gallon drum fire, too dangerous for the likes of me, LOL.

Trespass isn't a criminal offense by itself. If the coppers find you with crowbars and screwdrivers etc. then they can have you for going equipped but otherwise all they can do is ask you to leave the premises.

I'll get a picture next time I'm round there and think about it... Thumbs Up
