Am getting frustrated with this.
Anyone have any tips? Surely some of you know it!? (please)???
I am constantly told 'its a great skill... you will be glad you have it'
Right now I don't give a rats ass Sad I am ready to throw in the towel.
I started course Sep 08, the exam in June 09
I feel like such a quitter, but it is so bluddy difficult. It is the worst thing I have ever had to learn. Forget exams, forget college, this sucks my soul away...
Out of my class of 12, 6 of us remain. As I arrive tonight one girl was talking to tutor v worried and about to quit (me too!)
People where I work took THREE years to do this, and still hated it. Eee Gods.
I enclose the attached. I know what the first line (up to the slash (full stop) says) but after that give up. Meh
It's so much easier to read than write too
Bugger

Looks like something I'd write after I've been to the pub.

Infact, I will go to the pub, then report back. I'm pretty sure I'm fluent.

Why Teeline and not pitman?

Could have helped with pitman, though can't remember much of what mum taught me other than it being phonetic - so saying the sounds while you write it helps...

And, you're a nutter! Dictophone to record, then earphones + computer. Thumbs Up

Taking a wild guess I pressume it is short hand and not a prescription for thrush. I would have thought that in this day and age something better would have been in use and why the two types of short hand?
People have enough problems reading my hand never mind if it was shorter.
