Ok so i was selling my Gilera cougar 2001 model on ebay as it was slow, ugly and just poo only paid 275 for her with 6 months tax n test. So i got a message asking if i would want to swap for a nsr 125 1993 import with 5 months tax n test , so i thought what a bargin right? anyway i met the guys ( both on bikes one of the bikes was the nsr) they rode from barnsley to leeds at about 9pm, around 40min journey with no motorways.

So i didn`t think twice about inspecting the bike fully as i thought its got to be working properly since it got from barnsley to leeds and i just wanted it.

So the next morning i woke up and thought id go have a look at the bike, what a sorry state it was in anyway i thought right i better start it, made sure it was in neutral and pressed the starter button, all i got was a click, damn thats a new battery.

So i went and bought a new battery put it in and it turned the engine over with the starter motor making some unpleasant noises
still no start, so i took out the spark plug ( it was BLACK and oily )
and replaced it, the bike started kicking some smoke out in fact that much smoke it filled mine and the neighbours garden, anyway let it run revving it as it wouldnt tick over, and after smoking about 20 cigs sitting on the bike 30 mins passed and the engine died out,
looked at the spark plug, coated in oil again. so i took off the carb and theres a screw next to the airscrew so i took the screw out and the little rubber seal was broken i replaced this tampered around abit and thought i had the mixture ok, anyway left the bike for a week or two and then came back to it started it and yet again a shit load of smoke, so i thought f**k it ill just take the oil pipe off and pre-mix with the oil with the fuel so i did this and then noticed the heat gadge going up a little more than normal, then water spitting out of the coolant tank, so i thought f**k
and now i don`t really know what to do

might just sell her as shes been a bitch too me but i hate to give up without a fight Sad
