Just been reading this article in this weeks mcn. First average speed cameras capable of catching motorcycles are to be installed on popular riding routes!!

They will be rear facing so they can read our number plates and measure our average speeds over many miles and multiple roads - meaning speeders who slow down as they pass a camera will still be caught!!

The speed traps will be installed on single-carriageway rural roads starting with A537 Cat And Fiddle!!

Fookers will do whatever they can to ruin our best biking roads.

Just stop before you get to the second camera, turn round and ride back the other way as fast as you like. Thumbs Up Laughing

...to be fair the C&F isn't the nicest of roads...Patchy surface, only 1 corner with biker friendly armco..weekdays its full of wagons..weekends full of tootlers and if you do pop in the pub carpark it's bloody dangerous pulling back out (towards Macc)
I ride it at dusk Thumbs Up
Shame they're going OTT with the cams
