I want to get acommodation and travel sorted down to Lydden soonish, do we have a final list of who is going / how they are getting there / and where they are staying Friday night?

My plan is to ride down there on the motorways (~100 miles) on Friday night and spend the night in a B&B. I have found one which is 2 miles from the track so probably going to be in there.

It's £30 for the night or £54 for two people sharing a room, they currently have 4 double rooms left so we should be able to all bung in unless people find a better place.

Weather should clear up towards the end of this week so we may have some sun.

Right.. so far we have :
Bendy
Korn
Alex (r6)
Evil bob?
G
Kevo

I've got a list of B&Bs, so will phone some more tonight to see if there's a better deal, if not then well go with your one.

Who wants the use of a van if we are going to hire one?
I shall try to find some prices... though it probably won't be until tomorrow?

I will probably not be riding my own bike, unless I can definitely sort out whatever the problem is.

That place looks ideal being so close to the track. I'll be up for that along with travelling down on Friday evening.

Kevo.

Hi G,

Interested in the Van if you can get one.

I read about you having problems with the 9. Is it not fixable?. If theres anything I can do and you need a hand let me know.

Regards,
Kevo.

Right.

Yes - very up for the B&B. Is someone gonna make a block booking or we all doing it individually?

Van - I've been round everywhere and nowhere will do a van we can return on Sunday, so hiring one will be extremely expensive as we'd be doing a Friday pick up and a Monday drop off.

Let's say if nobody finds anything better by Wednesday we'll book that one. I asked about group discounts but they don't do them.

I have the day off work cos I need to go shopping for a leather jacket and a new lid, so not fussed.

What time do people want to get there? Where could we meet to ride down together?

Also: Have we decided on a B&B?

I reckon we want to get there fairly early and make sure we get a good night's sleep. Every track day I have done so far, I've ended up getting like 6 1/2 hours sleep the night before and being knackered the next day......

I've got a day off too, and would rather get there early and chill than late and panic.

Me thinks mr G will be relying on someone else for a lift, he's already told me that an r6 is not up to his high comfort standards, so I think he'll be leaving at the same time as whoever he manages to blag a lift off.....

......Beware you people with comfy bikes Rolling Eyes Mr. Green

Oh I will be being a 'tarty poof' and taking my seat hump, but I did offer to take it in a bag so he could have a lift.....
