I have a meta 351a alarm and imobiliser. My key fob seems to have died and i only have the one.
Obviously this means i cannot now start the bike. Is there anyway i can disable the system so i can get to work, or would a bike shop be able to sort me out with a new fob? |

I ended up getting my alarm system removed, that cost me about £90 but took the guy about 4 hours to do, good job he quoted for the work first. ____________________ Famous last words of Humpty Dumpty. " Stop pushing me "

It depends on how well it's been fitted. I've removed about 30 alarms, some were extremely well fitted (and a pig to remove as a result) and some were awful and took about two minutes to remove.
If you're going to do it yourself, follow the black leads from the alarm unit, four will go to the indicators, two will probably be spliced into the CDI wiring and two will be the power supply (often to the battery terminals). There may also be two to the starter relay, depending on the model of alarm. Remove all of these, re solder the cut CDI wiring and Bob's your uncle.
Cheers
