Hey guys,

great site so far. I was hoping you guys could help me locate a 71-77 ts125 wiring diagram, or shed some light on the regulation system. The stock 25/25 watt headlight burnt out, and I replaced it with a 30 watt unit that is very dim. I am trying to understand the regulation system to free up some power. I have already upgraded the rectifier to a full wave unit.

Some people refer to a headlight "resistor" and some seem to say that it is a zener regulator.

Question

Thanks for the quick reply! I am seeing a few differences though. I replaced the stator, and I am certain that I have three coils, and have a strange resistor-like device under the battery box next to the rectifier. I'll attach a picture!

Thanks!

it could be a capacitor (voltage regulator) or could be a resistor,
have a look at the ts100 diagram that looks more like what your are describing

That appears to be the one Smile

I am going to redesign it by adding a relay and another rectifier to run the AC lights off the dc system. That should increase my system's capacity.

nope but you'd be pretty hard to fuck that wiring up,
a magneto a coil and a kill switch or if its the cdi models
thats not really much harder

if you tell me the colours of the cables coming from each component
ill draw a diagram for you

I don't have a digital copy of the wiring diagram, this would be in the user
manual though, we can supply at a cost of £10

so if you have the owners manual for the scoot it should be in there, if not, then your other option is pay 10quid which seems to be on the nose really,

Hello there

You don't happen to have a diagram for a 2010 Piaggio NRG Power DD do you?

Or just a Piaggio NRG, they are probably all the same, or at least similar enough to work it out!

Thanks!
