Though it looked fucking nasty due to them flailing about the place, the accident looked bad because they were going so fast. The actual speed difference between the guy on the ground and the other bike was probably only 10-20 mph, making the initial impact not as bad as it might seem. But still having that happen and then still finding yourself sliding along at 100mph isn't exactly what you would call fun or safe. The guy who whacks the barrier nearly got fucked up big time.

Im suprised they showed the replay over and over again at the time as it looked like Lascorz could have been dead the way his body bent and flopped all over the show.

Am I seeing it wrongly or does the second bike's front tyre roll over the back of the first rider's neck?
