Right, my baby has been sitting ever since I moved to the UK, and now that I'm back in Spain over summer it's time to get her running and sold. My mate's dad is going mental cause I've kept it in their garage all this time, and I need to start it up today or tomorrow.
Will the battery be able to charge at this point or do I need to buy a new one? Will I have to drain the fuel? Clean the carbs? I really want this to be as quick, cheap and easy as possible.
Thanks in advance
EDIT: It's a 1994 reg

Just try it first if the battery is flat jump it off a car battery if no luck then clean/renew the plugs then if still wont start its time to clean the carbs and put fresh fuel in the tank.

if the battery has gone flat you might need a new one but jump it from a car as said and at least you'll be able to fire it up.....Fuel if only 9 months old should still be fresh so I doubt you'll need to change it so long as the carbs aint varnished up....you should be ok!

Took out the spark plugs and discovered that one of the caps is fucked. I'd be surprised if I'm getting power to that cylinder at all! Hope it won't be expensive to fix.. Getting a new battery tomorrow and new plugs as the old ones looked pretty damn old Razz While I'm at it I'll clean out the carbs for shits and giggles cause they look semi dirty.

Before you try start any bike that has not been started in a while you need to get the oil running.
Turn it over by hand. The back wheel in top gear or a socket on the crank.
Then a fully charged battery.
