'00 zx6r I've just locked the bike key under the seat of the bike as was packing ready to leave whilst having an argument with the misses on the phone, any ideas??? Waiting for a spare key to arrive is an option but will leave me disastrously late for work

Remove the undertray bit from the bike, then using a long hook pull the cable that attaches to the seat lock. This will allow you to unlock it.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

If the lock is directly on the saddle, you are probably in trouble.

If the lock is remote from the saddle (eg, on one of the helmet locks) and the latch works off a lever somewhere, it's often cable operated. Yanking on the cable will usually open them

That's misogynistic, illegal and immoral.

Tell her to bring the cat, and kick that instead. That's only 2 out of 3, plus it won't grass you up and it already hates you.

Lol.

Sucks man, if you have no tools you will struggle to do much. Can you beg/borrow/steal any from passers by?
