I was having a play about today with my CG that was just sat at the back of the garage feeling sorry for itself after buying the ER5. Made a battery bracket underneath the seat and removed the airbox, fitted a pod filter and flipped the bars.

it's erm, interesting.

Lets add another newer model into the mix:

Had her for just over 2 months and done 1200 miles Very Happy

https://i480.photobucket.com/albums/rr163/TgaTrucker/WRX002.jpg

Recently added a pair of Acerbis Uniko handguards & a arrow exhaust system which sounds brilliant.

Yamaha really are going somewhere with their new 125 range, the YZF and WR both being full size, YZF is even bigger than a R6! Holds a steady 65 mph and have got indicated 75 at a push, more than enough!

This was the last 125 I owned.

I bought it as a wreck that was all there but very rough, and did it up. It was very nearly finished in the second picture, although this was before I added decals, polished the paint and painted the exhaust black.

I wouldn't mind finding another to do up. I love RD125LC's.

(The dates on the photos are wrong, this was actually done in 2005)

https://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a295/symonh2000/RD125LC-7.jpg

Before it, I did a TZR125, which needed a complete stripdown, the engine was seized and the big end was shot due to the oil pump part of the throttle cable snapping.

Me too but for the amount I spent on my new XT, all I could have got was a 2008 model Varadero with about 10k on the clock. Confused
I made the right choice. Thumbs Up
