I bet that pipe is ridiculously loud. I don't see the point when on a 125CC with L plates makes you look like a nobber IMHO. Laughing

Each to their own, but having a really loud pipe and L plates just draws in the local cops with nothing going. I rather have a quiet-ish bike and not draw attention.

Some 125's are just stupidly loud, can hear them riding down the 40MPH limit from my bedroom on full rev just sound horrible. All sound no poke. Laughing

because im on a CBT, with a provisional, i got disqualified about a year ago and just got back on the road! But yeah, DRZ-E is much more suitable power for the weight!

It is only a cam swap and an FCR carb. £100 and you have a slightly pokier SM.

Sure its the FCR 39mm.. might be a different one but used they crop up on ebay and drz400uk site for ~£100

+1 for this. I have the same bike on an 11 plate, and there are areas for concern! Also, the farings have faded on mine, but back to black livens them up lovely. Will try and post some pics later.

They're not much fun on nsl roads or dual carriageways, but I don't feel exposed.
