hi there, im looking for a set of race scrubs to replace the knackered 207's on my cbr. A lot of the tyres ive looked at have been 120/70/17 and 170/70/17 instead of the standard 12/60/17, and rear 160/60/17 would this be ok to fit to my bike. And would it be worthwhile to stick a 170 on the back?
any help would be appreciated
cheers

I would try and stick to standard sizes personally, obviously that depends on being able to find them.
D207's? They're pretty old now, no?
EDIT: Those sizes aren't hard to find, pretty much all of bridgestone's current range come in those sizes. Probably not easy to find race scrubs in those sizes though, as I guess most will be 120/70's and 180/55's. ____________________

I do know it handled well and there didn't seem to be a lack of grip from the 160 rear (I'm used to 180's). I think 160's were a bit easier to find too. |
cheers mate, just played it safe and got the standard sizes for now, no doubt it will be up for sale soon anyway ____________________ current: firestorm
