I'm pretty sure THAT's how Charles' bike started to fire on one lol Razz

Was quite jokes mind. Me, Doovy and CHR15 didn't appreciate having 20kg gas bottle rolling around and thumping our back every time G braked!

I think since the ride outs, I've not been satisfied with riding at a normal pace anymore. The silliness that came out also proved that you can also be safe!

Been having a think about that.

When i left i rode A roads (after doing a loop of the BBQ venue Mr. Green ) i really enjoyed being abit more progressive than normal.
S'all cool. Thumbs Up

But Laughing i'd be daft to not expect few more 'moments' than what is normal (for me anyhow). It' takes a long time to become a Riding God...and i just make the Brews for him.
So i'm back to how i ride.

Ta for leading me astray. Smile whoever you were.

BTW y'know that Private Road we went down, it was the only time i've seen 130 on the clocks. Shortly after a big purple thing farted as it passed me.... like i was stood on the side of a motorway.

Yeah, I led the way for the ride so wanted to make sure I was at a "uni ride-out" sort of pace. Plenty of opportunites where the group could have effectively split up and had their own little ride.

This is one of the many reasons why I love living where I live, and I now know who the decent riders are.. I'd have no hesitations riding in fast pairs with anybody in the group.

The best thing about the day was that we were fortunate that we didn't have any 33bhp-ers. Had that been the case, it would have definitely been a different ball game and would have meant that we would have needed to wait at every roundabout for them to catch up. It weren't surprising that I might lose a few, particularly if you weren't local. But was a good ride.

Even better that there weren't any billy big balls or heroes who had a point to prove...

Chris750, why on earth do most of the roads between you and Swindon have speed cameras?! Saw a line of traffic and thought... its 60mph guys.

Shot past (i say shot, made progress to about 75) then realised they slowed down for a camera Laughing Laughing oblivious to it!

Only a few randomly fired shots, nothing exciting.
Haven't bothered to do any post-proc bar blurring 'plates, so various are under/over exposed and generally a mixture of both thanks to the questionable on-board flash.

Pics are here:
https://gees.zenfolio.com/bcf2011bbq

If you want to link to one, you can grab the link from here -
https://gees.zenfolio.com/p891528186/recent.rss
(Note you can get a smaller version of the picture linked to in the above by changing the -5 at the end to a -4 or -3.)

I'll transfer them to face book too, but they have to go to my personal one, because you can't bulk-upload pics to a group any more.
