Anybody know roughly how much labour a garage would charge to get the forks replaced on my kawasaki BN125? I can get hold of the parts myself.

Also the mileage clock doesn't work (the tenths work just the main digits don't), the speedo is fine, is it possible to fix or will i need a new speedo?

Normal rate is £40 PH.

I would guesstimate 2 hours.

Edit: Are you replacing the forks are getting them repaired?

Remove the brake claiper and the front wheel, then loosen the clamps that hold the forks in place, slide them out. Then slide in the new forks, tighten the clamps, reattach front wheel and brake claiper. Should only be 1 hour's labour charge. Thumbs Up

Even though I'm supplying a good pair of forks they wanted to replace the seals and oil - £150 inc labour

So I did it myself which took just an hour.

Thanks for your help.
