I need bandages and things for my leg, the doc said it will take a long time to heal and I need to change the bandage every day, a 5 day supply from boots cost £13! I thought I could get it online cheaper but nowhere seems to be particularly cheap. I need 10x10 jelonet, 10x10 dressing pads and bandage rolls.

Anyone know where to get this shit cheap?

I work in an office TBH I don't think it is worth my job to ransack £20 worth of bandages.

I seriously doubt any professional nurse would risk either job or registration for the sake of £20!

Pound shop sell medical stuff.

Either that or you could walk into your nearest NHS medical centre and tell them you are supposed to change your dressing 'but don't know how' and someone there will do it for free.

Or, you could just wash your bandages and re-use them and just buy the close to skin stuff. Thumbs Up

Can your Dr not give you a prescription for it to save you money, it's good that in Scotland you no longer get charged a precription fee anymore!

Yeahh get a prescription.

I'm not in Scotland, but what I do is pay about £9 a month direct debit and get a prepayment prescription card and then all my prescriptions are free.

I get 2 items a month on prescription so it works out cheaper.
