Just realised I'm an old fart who isnt 18 anymore...

Couple of weeks ago I came off my bike at a fairly low speed, just sprained my wrist and had a bit of a graze on my leg. I coudnt be arsed to get medical help so just I ignored my leg, until it started hurting like hell and I went to a Pharmacist to check it out. He told me to stop what I was doing and get to the doctors or A&E because I'd got blood poisoning. I'm on bloody awful tasting antibiotics but the swelling's gone down now.

Lesson learned to anyone else in the same boat, dont take any chances and go to the doctors at the first sign your not healing.

Yup, there's all sorts of (figurative and literal) crap on the roads, you want to get any injury cleaned out ASAP.

What were you wearing when you came off?

Luckily I had all the kit on which is why I only had a scratch even though I ended up in a hedge.
