You can't actually wear one piece leathers at all without looking silly.

That said, wear what you f*cking like. It's your skin.

Agreed.

You'll look silly on the bike but you'll be safer than not wearing them.

You'll look even sillier off the bike wearing them and you'll even have a silly walk off the bike.

Oh, you also have to do the happy penguin dance to take the top half off on a hot and sticky day and that makes you look even sillier.

Conclusion. Leathers are a comedy making outfit but they are designed for a single purpose and thats saving your skin in the event of a fall.

Wear the fkin leathers and dont care how daft you look!

I only fit in One Piece leathers.

Who gives a damn. Ive ridden scooters/old 80's 2strokes/naked/sports pretty much anything in my old shell suit leathers.

Even a pitbike.

£99 couldn't
say no, but couple of the Gixers riders at work are ripping into me, one of the main reason I got them is to pratice knee down. a

Mark, you actually don't look too bad here, for 3 reasons:

1) You're on track
2) You're not standing up and trying to walk around;
3) You're right arm and handlebar cover the fact that it's a one piece, so could just be a nice matching jacket and trouser set Laughing

I don't really get how a one piece is overkill for the road (this isn't directed at you potato as you're telling him to wear it)apart from the impracticality for daily use. If you are going for a country road blast and you're going to be ragging the shite out of the bike with the possibility of crashing it then you might as well wear a one piece for the extra piece of mind?

Personally I wouldn't ride on the road with a one piece just because I would never wear the thing, but then I normally ride about wearing jeans, but I can see the benefits from someone who has their bike as a "toy".

I realise that a one piece isn't the answer to surviving on the road because it's not going to do a huge amount when hitting anything solid, but there's nothing wrong with it in my book.

I couldn't agree more Sid.

There are far too many people who are in it for the image rather than riding the bikes.

One thing comes to mind is the whole "boots over jeans is uncool" thing. It might be, but most of the time I'm lucky if I can be arsed putting my boots on nevermind pulling my jeans out over the boots.

Deal wae it.
