Yes, I have fitted Yamaha bars to an old BSA, until I got hold of the proper ones, the grips fitted perfectly.
Only Harleys are different, as they are 1".
I would be 99% sure that the length would be the same, as long as you don't have a load of extra switchgear, you shouldn't have any problems. ____________________ Treat each day as if it was your last, because one day you will be right. |

For as long as I can remember I have been using Renthal grips. There are a huge number to choose from on the internet, but no others have come closer than using these.A reasonable price as well - not cheap, but a better quality than the cheap rubbish.
Full Diamond Medium is what I use on the roadbikes, using the proper glue and then lockwiring.

The soft grips will be more comfortable but will wear out quicker. The hard ones, from experience, let some vibration through the grips. This is why I prefer the mediums.
As for the length, differant bikes have differant throttle tube lengths. On my dirt bikes I use the motocross length grips.I then have to cut off a small piece in order to be able to fit the handguards.
