Why not join this great Charity ride from St Georges Hall, Liverpool to Corwen, Denbighshire through the beautiful roads in North Wales. The pace will be quicker than the Wirral Egg Run as there will be a Police bike escort for part of the route, but will still suitable for all (i.e. no motorway speeds). Bikes, trikes, quads and scooters are all welcome to join.
Once at Rhug Estate, dig in to excellent Organic grub such as Bison or Aberdeen Angus burgers and then try one of the delicious local Ice Creams. Then listen to the live music, vote in a bike competition, browse through the market stalls and enter the raffle for the chance to win one of the loads of prizes on offer. There will also be a silent auction for some amazing bike-related goodies that have been kindly donated to the charity. You may even spot a famous face or two in the crowd...
Don't have a bike/don't ride but want to ride in the event?
Spare pillion spots can be made available by registering in advance and letting us know you want to ride with someone. All we ask is a donation to the charity for setting this up for you, but you must have your own lid and protective equipment.
The bikes will arrive around 12:00, so feel free to get to Rhug early to see the spectacle as hundreds of bikers arrive from Liverpool. The venue at Rhug Estate will be under cover (for the typical British Summers day!) and is suitable for the whole family as there will be plenty for all to see and do So invite all your non-biking family members and friends too, plenty of parking will be available. The venue address is:
Rhug Estate,
Corwen,
Denbighshire
LL21 0EH
This event is being organised by the bike club 'Bikers for Neurosupport' (Patron: Jenny Tinmouth of British SuperBike and IOM TT fame) to raise awareness and funds for the registered charity Neurosupport, who provide non-medical advice to those with neurological disorders, their carers and families. So if you know anyone affected by either MS, Stroke, Epilepsy, Parkinsons, Alzheimers, Brain Injuries or tumors (to name a few), then please join us and support this fantastic, rapidly growing event on the biking calendar!
Hope to see you there !
