Not knowing what monies I'll get from insurance is a bit of a bitch but wondering what to get instead...hoping for at least £1600

Has to be cheapish, loud, fast and commutible, with preverably good MPG

Was getting 150 miles to a tank on the zx

wouldn't mind a fuel gauge and/or shaft driven if possible.

Hey, what about a zzr600? They're nice and fast and should be fine for the commute, how far is it and what type of roads?
Most bikes can be loud...and the zed has a fuel gauge!
