Posted this originally on the end of someone elses post but was advised to start my own

I have a vulcan 125 thats playing up, Some advice would be great before I get the hammer on it

The engine starts with out a key, I need the lights on for indicators to work, lights go dull and flicker when indicators flash, if i press the brake the indicators flash quicker and battery does not charge

Any Ideas ?

Only recently started doing this, I have changed the rear mudgaurd recently so had to disconnect the back end but all wires went back corectly ( I think ), not sure if it was doing this before I changed mud gaurd was only made aware when some one told me..

You'll be lucky to find a wiring diagram for that specific bike, or the Pioneer Nevada or Lexmoto Lowride brandings.

I'd start with a CG125 diagram and then bust out the multimeter and see what's different.

Typical bad earth/bad connection.

The Ignition switch may also be faulty, internally.
