These are just the first of 4 photos of my bike, just waiting for the others to get uploaded (the others have me on, so they're ruined!) and then you can see all of them!

What do you think for £1000?

Oh, and one more thing, has anyone seen another one in this country in this colour scheme (purple back etc.)

Cheers

There wouldn't be many if any more in that paintjob as it's a respray. A copy of a CBR600F scheme, like Kev's old one.

I not sure if its a respray because its imported. I have seen one other in this colour and its on www.nsr125.com in the photos section from a guy in barcelona I think.

Just had a look and its a safe bet his bike is a respray too, his frame appears to be anodised or powder coated, it's a dark grey.

If it works, looks good and has no problems then anything is a good buy. And if you picked it up for £1000 personally I'd say, if it works, then yes it's a good buy, it looks great too even if it has been resprayed. Hope you enjoy it. Ride safe Wink

Hey Noggin, nice bike!
Yours is an import like mine! thats why its the cool design & colour scheme. I think they were shipped in from Italy, thats where those colours were popular. The English colour schemes were the red, white and blue and there was an older 'urban tiger' colour scheme but you dont see many of them around.

Well, when i say like mine i mean the patterns the same, urs is still the only one in that colour scheme i know about in the UK! Shocked Its cool to have an import, aint it! well apart from having to change the dials and stuff for english mph.. but thats no biggie!

Very, very good deal for £1000!!! does it run ok?

Ive put some pix of mine below!!

Hope u like it! Very Happy

Noggin and Shimmy, lovely bikes you two have got! i want a newer one myself but i'm perfectly happy with the old school NS for now Smile

Thats one hell of a buy you got mind, £1000 for something which looks absolutely spotless Surprised
I have seen some of the same colour scheme in this country, they aren't too rare, haven't seen one the same as Shimmy's though.

Can someone tell me if the NSR125 is bigger than the CBR125?
I sat on the CBR at a Honda dealership and its TINY! I've never been on something so small before. But saying that, i am 6ft3 lol
I might look into investing in a newer model NSR next year Wink

It is indeed. I went to look at my neighbours cbr125 and it was tiny. The part that struck me was how narrow it was. Then went back over to my NSR and it looked somewhat like a real bike. Wink

Hey thanks NS-Keith! The old school nsr is well cool! I rode mates a while back, a great bike! Cool

Yea I would say the nsr is defiantly bigger. I’m not biased to the nsr because i have one, but seriously the cbr 125 is scarily thin in comparison. I don’t know why Honda decided make it like that as it could have been such a nice bike! Confused

If you want a 125 then I would say get an nsr. I’m not dissing anyone who has a cbr 125, just I prefer the nsr!
I like the cbr's exhaust though. I know people say it tried to make it look bigger than it is but loads of bikes do that, even the large bikes. Just the exhaust pipe in the centre is bigger.

But anyway, yea the nsr is wider! Thumbs Up

Have you seen others in this country in these colours?

For £1000 it seems like a good buy. There is some slight fairing damage on the left (i also dropped it when i got peeved off trying to put it behind my drive!), and there is a slight rattle at 4K revs, will ask in workshop.

It is nice having a pretty rare bike as well though, makes me feel special, if it is rare.

Nice bike back shimmydude, the colours look really cool.

Are they harder to get parts for though? Confused If it's an import is it from italy? You may have lost some of honda's reliability if it's been through italy! Laughing

Well I can say that I have never seen one the same colour or style as yours. All the nsr's I have seen have been the new scheme design that they used for the 2000 bikes.

its nice to have a bike thats a bit different. Very Happy

The parts are just as easy to get hold of as you order then from Honda themselves and they ship them from their Honda factory in Spain.

All the import bikes are the same as the non import bikes (except they are different colours and the speedo is different) as they were all made in Japan, and then shipped to Spain. Just so happens some then got shipped form spain to the UK. Thus creating an import bike!

either way, all bikes are imports.
according to the Haynes NS125 manual, these bikes were developed in japan but built in italy, so i don't know if the "honda" reliability is there for my bike lol

I’m sure 'hope' it is Rolling Eyes )! Hopefully Honda wouldn’t put their name on a bike that wouldn't carry on the chain of Honda reliability! Well they wouldn't... would they? Shocked

Like the colouring / scheme, really stands out, now i haven't seen an NSR in those colours and that scheme. Often see those colours, but just not in that scheme. Looks really nice, and stands out from the crowd.
