compression test cd200 6 volt help results

Hi I've just done a compression test on my cd200 the results seem very high 200 psi both sides?

It does sound a bit high, I would have expected around 140 to 160 if the engine was in great condition with low milage, is the conpression tester accurate, can you try it on something else, was the engine running when you did the test?

Brand new tester . Both plugs was out .way do u meen by running
