What company?
Are you by any chance actually a Uni Student or similar?

I do wear protection when riding.

I don't have a specific area I feel is the most vulnerable and to feel this would seem silly to me.

I have had a variety of injuries grazed knees, concussion, cracked humeral head, broken tib and fib, decent patch of road rash for the more serious.

I make a point of buying protective clothing I will use - of course I'd prefer to ride motocross without putting anything on and still be protected, but back in reality I'm happy with the situation.

If I could create my own protection, I'd want the knowledge of experts in the field to back up the very basics before I even started.

Reeks of student project. Industrial placement?

>Do you wear any protection when riding?

Nah, my wife's on the pill and I'll take my chances with the mucky stuff.

>Where do you feel the most vunerable when riding?

Going up the Gary bareback.

>Have you had an injury? if so where and what broke?

Karol 'with a K' Morrison, 1988, fractured heart. 6 foot, built like an Amazon, I had to stand on a box. I should really look her up...

>Do you find it annoying to put addition protection on?

Rather take a bath with my socks on.

>If you could create your own protection where would it be for? and why?

I'd write something to filter out uni projects that are essentially a waste of our time since they'll never, ever, result in any new or modified product hitting the market.

Name the company, describe your position, and you might get serious answers.

Useful feedback:
If I was working in a company that invited such presentation and found that this sort of research was used, I'd make sure a black mark would be against their name to never be given a job at my company.

With the possible exception of them being <14; if it was GCSE, A-Level or above, I certainly would expect more intelligent thought going in to it.

Do you wear any protection when riding? Clean underwear.

Where do you feel the most vunerable when riding? Perineum

Have you had an injury? if so where and what broke? Ran over my own hand ice skating. Broke an artery and did Monty Python impression.

Do you find it annoying to put addition protection on? I do not use addition protection.

If you could create your own protection where would it be for? and why? I would like a team of 21 year old brunette ninja assassin/masseurs to follow me around, like the secret service do for the president. Because it would be cool.

As some preliminary research, see if you can find a student project which has ever, in the entire history of students or projects, resulted in a real motorcycle product being brought to market.

Pro tip to save you and us a lot of time: work out what they want to hear, then fake up the data to support it.

I wear the back protector only under my leathers on road bikes. The whole hog for motocross. The whole hog also just fits under my textile road jacket.

Forcefield are making some of the best kit out there at the moment, with multiple impact materials that can be used for a variety of sports.

Way better than the high density foams or hard jointed traditional stuff.

You can wear it all day long and it just gets more comfy.

I wish they'd create a decent rucksack with back protection in it...
