thought this was gunna be me yesterday, some bwm stopped inches away from my bike while i was kneeling down undoing the headlamp screw to reconnect an indicator wire.

Wow, this thread should be an ''Ride safe'' add. 
I've never went down and now I'm quite concerned after almost 10k miles on the bike without a scratch. I rode my first bike in -5°C, rain, at night through a mountain pass during heavy storm with GPz550 that's head light is a joke, and so on.

My first crash on my 125, 5am decided to take a small roundabout (not a mini one) too fast in the wet and the back end went for a wonder.

~2 weeks after getting it back on the road I decide to park it into a field (This one hurt, landed on my face )

in fairness i low sided on a fast right hander, slid about 15 metres with bike on me, left the road via a small drop down into lovely long grass!
scratched up most of right side, broke brake pedal, bent up brake lever, knackered bar ends, nearly groud through engine case, broke exhaust hanger as well as scratch up link pipe and dent end can... shattered screen and broke upper fairing to. |
