This is not my bike, but someone I know. 190mph crash. There was almost nothing useable left of the nearly new 'busa.

Jesus man.

If there was a prize for most damaged bike, I think this Busa would get it.

Yeah he had a lot of injuries but has recovered well. Lucky to have got out of it alive. Caused by an exploding rear tyre.

I cannot show off anything spectacular as I don't crash into objects.. but I get low sides once in a while Wink

Last one happened in September. It was a first day with very heavy rain and standing water after weeks of good weather. And it ended up like this for me Laughing

https://imageshack.us/a/img42/4828/81ha.jpg

It was quite challenging to get back home like this. But I managed Wink

Start of the month picked up a new bike. ~220 miles home, ~260 miles the opposite direction the next day. About 6 miles the day after and chucked it in a ditch. Thumbs Up

It didn't stop upright, asked the locals who stopped to pick it up after I failed to when I realised my ankle was broken.

Sorry, I couldn't hold back. Hope your not as broken as the bike, and haven't let it knock your confidence. I try to treat all my crashes as just a spike in a learning curve.

Haha Razz no, came away with stiffness and bruises! not bad considering i was wearing hi-tops and normal trousers Whistle it did make me anxious for the following few weeks, even when in the car with someone, i would be clinging on to the door! Embarassed but got on the bike as soon as i could and now have my full license Very Happy So something good has came from it Smile

TBH, it was rather amusing when I posted a photo on facebook and one of my friends commented asking what was wrong with the bike Doh! some people are just clue-less when it comes to bikes! Laughing

in fairness i low sided on a fast right hander, slid about 15 metres with bike on me, left the road via a small drop down into lovely long grass!

scratched up most of right side, broke brake pedal, bent up brake lever, knackered bar ends, nearly groud through engine case, broke exhaust hanger as well as scratch up link pipe and dent end can... shattered screen and broke upper fairing to.

That's almost identical to mine, on a 05 ZX6R. Mine fairing (black and lower of colour fairing) took the brunt, aswell as snapping the footpegs off. Crash bungs took most of it, with R&G bar ends and swing arm bobbins helping massively.
