Hyosung are fine, mainly the 07+ models.

GT/GTR are great big 125 bikes.
The GV is for the cruiser gays.

They aren't chinese... Kymco seem ok, not had one personally though.

Leave the pulse behind, I'd have a kymco or hyosung in a heartbeat. I love the Kymco Venox, and the hyosung aquila 650 looks amazin to me, like wise so does the gtr's

To quote directly from another thread i just posted in.

I would safely say that the Pulse Adrenaline is the slowest motorised vehicle I have ever been on/in

The nylon tyres are also deadly, and the build quality looked awful.

If the rest of their range is like this (and it most likely is) stay the hell away.

Kymco are Taiwanese, I have one of their cheap scooters an 05 Super 9, and it is pretty tough. I'd buy one of their 125's if there were any in my area. They build engines for BMW and used to do spares for Honda.

Hyosung are Korean and look very good. The GT125R are in my short list as i'm 6'2" and they are big bikes.

I've had 2 Kymco's (admitedly, almost 6-7 years ago now at least) before, both Zing 125's. Very reliable and good finish on them too. The new Zing's look amazing, I'd love one for the cheap running costs. Cool

Kymco Pulsar is also a good bike, bullet proof.

Yup, Kymco engine tech is pretty well up there, there are some other Chinese brands that buy from them rather than spunking money in house. BMW buy engines from them, and I haven't heard of any Kymco con-rods coming loose. Wink

Hyosung, well, check the swing arm for corrosion, and if you hear anything remotely like cam chain rattle, clutch in and pull over.

I used to have a Kymco Agility RS50, top quality Smile just copies of solid engines/frames. Hyosungs are as good. Not heard much of Pulse, but Syms are good, AVOID CPI. Smile

Had a Kymco Agility RS 125 Scooter on hire from insurance. Although I'm not a fan of scooters, couldn't fault it.

Got a Kymco KR Sport 125 now, can't fault that either.

Hyosung are good bikes. They are Korean (the South, obvs LOLOLOL) and are designed by Japs. I should mention if you get the GT125/250 EFI, they do not have kick starts which is something I would like to have on a commuter bike

Neither do the carbed versions - at least neither of mine did...
