I've got a fazer 2005. on ebay the only power commander for it is selling at 172£. there are others for different bikes at much cheaper prices. From what I've understood the PC3 are basically all the same, the only differences are the plugs and the maps inside. the maps are easily replaced with the use of a laptop... but the cables? can they be replaced? and if so where would I find the cables for a fz6 2005? Also, does anyone know if the plug for an R6 are the same of the fz6? same year 2005. thank Laughing Laughing you. ( I meant connectors Smile)

It's the connectors that are different. You can just cut the old ones off and put new ones on and it should work. That is assuming you get a PCIII for a bike with the same number of cylinders of course.

I'd suggest that the one from the 2005 R6 is most likely to work if you put the correct connectors onto it.

to end this topic ofr now, I've finally bought a PC3 usb from ebay for 140£... super .. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290708167993?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 I've installed it today and the bike runs MUCH BETTER. defenely worth it. If I'll decide to spend some cash in the future for a custom map I will let you know if it is really worth it.
