Its got a tiny dent. That photo shows it up more than you can see in the metal as it were. I got the exhaust cheap, but it cleans up the whole back end of the bike I think. Plus it sounds like... like Wez's bike from Mad Max 2 Cool

Funnily enough I like the tail the way it is. If it didn't have that skeleton bit on the back it would look too short IMO.

Have you had the ECU mapped for the pipe by a Triumph dealer? If not, get it done, the over-run especially is bloody awesome. Thumbs Up Shocked

Narp... I've got a laptop and an OBDII cable... I did it myself! Smile

The software and the maps are available for free on the internet. Blue flames come out of the exhaust on the overrun. Awesome.

I must admit that I prefer the look of the original under seat cans.

The fully-specced Speed Triple R is on the top of my list if I ever go for another new bike. Thumbs Up

A vast improvement in looks, even with the dent. I really don't like the look of the standard underseat pipes on the Streets/Speeds.

Thumbs Up

Lovely bikes, I think 'normal' exhausts look better than the underseat exhausts, but that's not the right one.

Don't know if a better looking exhaust is out there though?

Liked it better with the old cans. Now you can fit a body under the seat and it looks weird.

There are actually two more differences that people have missed so far...

I like it now. It makes the bike look less rear end heavy, and the bike is noticeably lighter. As I said above, it has a better throttle response, more noise and runs smoother.

It is now exactly as I want it (apart from the dent in the can...)

No, there is one more difference... I figured the seat cowl would be included in the removal of pillion pegs.

No one wins the bike. Except me.

Either a sticker on the clutch housing or a new housing with a free sticker on it. Something along those lines.

Quite happy to go on staring at those pictures Wub

Close, it has R and G racing generator cover and clutch cover protectors, and an R and G crankcase protector.

The bike is infinitely prettier with that on Marjay.

The rear end needs sorting out though, get a tail tidy for heavens sake!

Tasty lookin. I'd get/make a pukka little heat shield/crash guard just to cover the dent, maybe out of a bit of carbon fibre, then i'd be truly satisfied. Even if it was just held in place with a big jubilee tightened up at the back.
