hi guys!

taking the Mrs away this weekend and we want a city break or similar, doesn't have to be romantic but a bit can't do any harm.
I need things to do, plenty of places to drink, friendly atmospheres or a bit busy but not rough, you know the drill.
also could do with a nice (ish) hotel for a decent price.

the places we have to choose from are:

liverpool
leeds
manchester
blackpool (for the pleasure beach and nightlife)
or preston.

looking to go friday and saturday night returning home sunday.

all decent ideas welcome

thanks in advance Thumbs Up Karma

From the title it sounds as if you want her abducted!

Preston? That's what happens to sanitary towels isn't it?

Put balsamic vinegar on her chips - it would likely make for an unforgettable weekend north of Watford.

Using the road or rail network.

I'd rather stay at home than visit any of the places you've mentioned for a "weekend away with the missus" to be honest.

Thumbs Up

Well, you had Leeds on your list. York is about another 20 minutes drive or 1 more stop on the train.

I'm not saying it's particularly classier when you get right down to pissheads vomiting in the street at 1am BUT but it appears classier so you can watch pissheads vomiting in a quaint and historic town centre with excellent views of the river.

Liverpool and staying at Albert Dock is a good weekend. Plenty to do all within walking distance.

York. Pretty good.

Edinborugh. Pretty good.

Manchester. Only if you are going to a show....

Leeds. Forget it ( live near )

Burnley is a hole. I was working a door there once. When I got there I wondered why a shitty little labour club needed security. By the end of the night it went off properly. Everyone in there was fighting - at least 100 people and there wasn't much we could do apart from watch it Laughing

I thought Chester, but York sounds ok too.
Liverpool is ok for a day, but that's it.

You can stay on this in the Albert Dock in Liverpool:

https://www.travelrepublic.co.uk/hotels/united-kingdom/merseyside/liverpool/the-joker-royal-albert-dock.html

That would be pretty damn cool. There's a Yellow Submarine themed one too if that takes your fancy!

Liverpool is pretty good for a weekend, PLENTY of places to go for a drink, plenty to do and see - The Biennial Art Event is on at the moment so loads of crazy art stuff, then there's museums, art galleries, the Albert Dock itself, shopping, The Williamson Tunnels, the Duck Marine, cathedrals, etc. I could recommend some really good restaurants too.

But if you ever fancy going a bit further afield for a city break I would highly recommend Bruges and the Double Door B&B xxx

The Williamson Tunnels,

You only get to see about a hundred yards of them, they actually go for miles. Best idea they were for getting men to earn welfare with pride.

can you drive? If you can get yourself to hull docks, an overnight 'minicruise' to brugge will get you lots of blowjob points. Although you'll have to be quiet with them cos the walls on the ferry are like paper Wink
