Since when does modifying a bike mean it'll be worth more when you sell it? Nobody puts shiny bits on their bikes hoping it'll make it worth more when they sell it.

Oh yes they do.... It's what causes a load of hassle with insurers. Some dumb fcuks think everyone will pay for taste. Smile

You should put a set of Before and After pics up. That beast was the BOW livery before right?
I liked the OEM colours when I seen one in the dealers GEM. Better paint than any previous attempt by the Bosch.
But when I saw the T'undergrey I had to have that instead beast

Probably a mixture of HDR (shadow/highlights), vignetting, desaturation and selective colour splash.

Not sure I've got similar angles.

It looks interesting, but I can't see any gain in it, maybe if you were a race rider and needed to do better lap time, then, to be honest I still wouldn't be able to see any gain in what you've done Confused

Q: How big is the weight loss? Sorry if it's been mentioned, the thread is quite comprehensive and I might missed the answer Smile

Did you expect me to weigh every single panel, then go up the loft and find the OEM ones and weigh them too?

Just the stock bike and then after you've changed those panels. Let's say with full tank, so you've got the same amount of fuel in it Thumbs Up

I'm just pulling your leg Laughing

Some of it will clearly be lighter but then you've bolted on covers that weren't there before and added all the saved weight back on.

I bet it's the same as before.

If you ever decide you want to get rid of it and you really want a 2005 636 with flashes of carbon for a straight swap then don't hesitate to give me a call mate xD

My mot station has one, but it's very small like the scaled you get in your bathroom. He puts the front wheel on, weighs it, then puts the rear wheel on. an adds the 2 together. I don't think that's very accurate Laughing

That's like when fatties cheat and only put one leg on at a time then come out saying "Oh yeah I only weigh 12 stone"

When you were 5 maybe? Rolling Eyes

Looks brilliant and very tart.

Don't spray it.

A vinyl wrap with translucent colouring would be amazing. You would have a 'paintjob' from a distance, but the weave would still be clearly visible.

I must also admit that it looks very good! I had my doubt when you first started and had some of the original panels in there, but it looks very good with all the Carbon panels.
