Other bellypan was too short mate, when the cat is removed it leaves a huge hole.

Well on Sunday I had a photoshoot for Fast Bikes Magazine, should be a double page spread and yes there will be a model in lingerie for you Smile

SO added a few more bits and my mate cleaned and waxed the bike before the shoot.

Mag will be out before Christmas, and they'll release the photo's then. Plus I might need your help with some voting as it's a competition to win a set of Carbon Dymag Wheels lol

So.

Have you weighed it? Is is lighter than standard?

LOL @ "innovative creations". I first saw that particular "innovation" on a riding school CG125 about 15 years ago where they'd fitted a set of mountain bike bar-ends to stop the noobs busting their levers.

God knows where to weigh it mate. I asked about this the other day and people were arguing saying about putting one wheel on the scales then the other and adding them together was a very innacurate way of doing it.

Don't see why it would be as long as it's kept level. All the weight is on the two wheels. It's how they do it for MOT brake tests.

What about a public weighbridge?

Just stand on your bathroom scales and zero them then stand on the scales whilst carrying the bike. Simple Thumbs Up

A scrap metal dealer will have a really accurate set of scales.

Also an oppertunity to take moody, underexposed black and white photos in front of piles of scrap metal.

It will work perfectly if there's no suspension movement shifting the mass with the change in attitude of the bike. Real world figures would be accurate enough for most but if you want perfect accuracy you'd be better off dropping the top surface of the scales to ground level or, more simply perhaps, raising the non-weighing wheel to the same height as the scale on a piece of wood.
