If the F had radial brakes, and a non-detuned engine, it'd probably outsell the RR tbh.

Hmm, that makes me think actually... F Sport? Laughing

Finance it like me? Only £200 p/m over 3 years or £120 p/m over 5 years. The loan is secured against yourself not the bike too which is nice.

My quest for a dirtier noise continues... Sounds slightly deeper. Not rode the bike since fitting it earlier today so ill update tomorrow on any tiny performance gains.

Found that Arrow do a set of straight through downipes however the £490 asking price is a little salty just yet.

Bought a Blueflame end can last week. Was a bargain on eBay so would of been rude to pass up. Its meant for a Hornet but as they have the same engine/chassis its a direct swap.

Build quality compared to the Akra is shocking, the welding looks like it was done by a three year old but the noise difference is immense, kind of deep and burbly (sp?) at tickover building to a proper IL4 scream up the top of the rev range. Also as an added bonus, i get a warm leg when sat in traffic if i keep my leg too close.

Tucked the Akra away in the shed until i can get hold of some Arrow downpipes as its too quiet for my liking. There is meant to be a cover to hide the can away a little but the turnip who owned the old stock can rounded the bolt so ive been unable to remove it thus far, will get round to it soon.

https://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee125/carlosamillios/lueflame.jpg

Also a quick soundcheck from the GoPro. Will get a better one, most probably a flyby or some onboard when i get some more mounts.

That does look a bit like someone's just hacked the pipe off!

Also, I would not insure a £7400 bike on TPFT insurance - I'd be far too scared to ride it!

Nice bike, though Smile

Some silly twat offered me double the price I bought my scaffold pipe for, that mixed with a little peer pressure led me to sell it. Normal Akra service has removed. I will try my best to keep away from tack/sh*t for the foreseeable future.

On another note, a hugger was purchased last night (with proxeeds from scaffold) It's white to break up all the black at the back end. May go for some white reflective rim tape but unsure on this yet. Will post pics when it comes.

I did state "unsure". Thinking that the hugger and possibly seat cowl or undertray will do the job.

Out of interest, where is FTR suspension? Noticed you're just down the road from me, let me know if you fancy a ride out when it's warmer

More tat for the bike.

Unsure on the looks of the chain guard part. May spray this bit black and leave the rest white.

Note lack of scaffold.

Should do a good job of not letting winter destroy the shock and stuff over winter hopefully as that area gets caked in crap almost daily.

Bargain at £25. Got some crash bungs and R&G tail tidy on the way, that will probably be it before christmas.

There is, but at £107 not including paint I think that can wait. I also take pillions a lot so it would forever be getting take off or put back on.

Trying to save for a set of Arrow race downpipes so the mods will probably slow for a while.

Looking really good now, i would buy some 6mm or 4mm Red rim tape for£4.00 off ebay and tell everyone to piss off. Not reflective though as that would make you a homo.

It would match the fairing. Thumbs Up
