My levers are £22 eBay jobbies. A mate bought a gsxr750 with Pazzos the other day and they feel exactly the same.

If they are the same ones I got from ebay for the FZ6 then they are pretty much identical to Pazzo levers.

You sure? Thought they had 7 colour options or something like that.

Fitted!

https://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee125/carlosamillios/null_zpsf7750cbc.jpg

My O2 eliminator arrived today too, makes the exhaust area look much neater. Has lead to a very slightly lumpy idle though so may need to get it mapped at some point.

Sounds absolutely nuts. May need to get a baffle at some point as the neighbours will get fed up of hearing it at 6am every day.

Thanks Carlos. Should be here in 20 days Smile

Matt, they had only chrome and green in handles for the gsxr 750 2012, they may do the other colours for older models. I got a response saying they couldn't do any other colours so must be something to do with their machining process.

great thread carlos Thumbs Up

Bike looks stunning imo. How you getting on with it? I'd like to get one in August/September. It's a toss up between this or the more sporty GSXR600 K9 but I reckon this would be more suited for me. I can't remember the last time I've properly pinned it on the SV round the twisties so a super sport might be a bit of a waste.

What MPG you getting out of it? And do you feel like you have to have the revs hitting the limiter to get any power out of it?

Getting on with it fantastically. Its absolutely the perfect machine for my needs. Have had a go on a few mates "supersports" 600s and they are just too focussed for my liking, never seem happy unless you're trying to strangle the twist grip. Can literally do anything on mine (on road) and its as easy to ride as my old CBR125.

If you are within an hour or twos ride, i would happily let you have a go to see how you get on with it.

Roughly 9.9 miles per litre so about 45mpg. When trundling through 30/40/50 limits it will happily return 60/70+mpg but if you cane it, the gauge will tell you you'll be getting about 20 (it registers in miles per litre). So much better than i expected although i am still restricted to 33bhp so arent riding it to its full potential.

Umm nah... I was seriously considering it ready for my next trackday at Donny but i know a lad thats just been nicked for it and lost his license/bike so its put the frighteners on big time. Really paranoid about getting caught and my bike doesnt do a good job of NOT drawing attention to itself with its loud pipe and small plate lul.

Looking good Carlos Thumbs Up

Glad you've got those pipes on now - I didn't think it would be too long! They do sound the nuts don't they! I understand what you mean about getting a little baffle in there - my friend had his on and also felt they were too loud for early mornings!

At least your neighbours don't have to worry about setting their alarm clocks! Wink

Wankers!!

As some may know, my bike got knocked in the works carpark a couple months ago, shattering the mudguard, bending a brake disc and scuffing the rim.... After that, i managed to source a huge 6ft wide, 4ft high orange barrier used for making pedestrian walkways on roads with reflective shiz all over it in an attempt to make my bike more visible and minimise the chances of it happening again. I parked the bike as far back in the space as possible and put the sign at the front of the space.

Fast forward to Tuesday just gone.. Some gormless twat comes into my work and says "Urrrr i fink i jus knocked ur bike ova bruv". Ran outside and sure enough, sign was flattened and bike was indeed on its side. Turns out gormless twunt didnt even see the bright orange barrier or the bike behind it and just reversed straight into it. The bike was knocked over its left hand side so must of been hit with some force.

Luckily the only damage was scrapes to all the black fairings on the LHS, no marks to the main white fairing, scuffed barend, scuffed mirror and clutch lever, smashed indicator. Lucky the engine didnt go down but looks like my bike has wide enough bars to stop that.

Yoof was only just out of his teens driving an old Audi TT and was shitting it about insurance so settling cash. £300 for replacement parts! Or £30 for new indis all round and a touch up pen.....

Still cant believe how much of an idiot he was. Rest of the dosh will be going on new tyres and trackday.

Pick your track carefully, a few don't allow restricted license holders on.

Aready researched that in great depth. Donny, Mallory, Rockingham (done) allow restricted licenses and tbh apart from Snetterton and Cadwell they are the only tracks i want to go on anyway, all within a 2 hour tops ride away too Very Happy

Why you didn't bother reaming him for the replacement parts is beyond me, just means he'll not bother paying more attention next time IMO.
