Yeah I've worn it on the bike for months. I also have an AGV S4, the Arai in my opinion is far better... Better ventilation by far, better noise cancellation and much, MUCH more comfortable. Yes the chain guard is physically larger and I do feel the wind drag a bit more, but I'd rather that than have the S4s guard press against my chin at 70mph.
The Arai is heavier, but I've raced with it for a couple years and never felt an issue with it.
With respects to the Apertures... you can see my visor is physically smaller in height, and I go and make that smaller with a Visor strip. I've never had an issue with this at all. the helmet shell actually sits about 1mm above my eyebrows. Ridiculously comfortable.
Snell SA rated helmets are now legal for road use. |

Cheapo Duchinni. None of the expensive helmets like fitting my head. The V-Can 210s were the best fit helmets I had. Didnt seem to be many available last time I looked.

Duchinnis fine, but dual sport helmets have a reputation for being loud as fook.
Anyone here wear an open face helmet? What are they like for wind noise up to 60mph? |
